Sunday Sept,19th was a day of fulfillment of a wish of mine, My frnd Adv.Vishnu Sankar and myself visited Veteran Congress Leader.Shri. K.Karunkaran and got the blessings of the Political Saint
For me I have told it was a day of fulfillment, because it was in 1992 that my father authored the biography of Leader titled 'K.Karunakaran' and it was the first biography of Leaderji, The book was appreciated by the Literary world and acclaimed a wide readership among masses. My father though a leftist took a painstaking effort in writing the book, Literary Magnate Dr.Sooranad Kunjan Pillai in his foreword to the book stated that the book is not only the biography of Karunakaran but can also be regarded as the contemporary Political history of Kerala.
Coming to story, Leader's wife Late.Kalyanikutty Amma use to sent new clothes for my bday in my younger days and in 1992 when the book was released by Leader himself( That also created history) in Ramanilayam Guest house, Thrissur after seeking the blessings of Guruvayur appan, I was in another car, and thus we were denied entry to the hall due to security reasons as he was the CM of the state. I was very unhappy and we returned back to Andhra where my father was assigned with another work, My father was very close with Industrialist Mr.Y.S.Raja Reddy, father of Late. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy, Ex CM of Andhra Pradesh, I accompanied my father to his home to give a copy of the book. he asked my father why this man( refers to me) is pale , what happened my dear? I narrated the incident. But to my surprise He arranged a public meeting in the same evening in Kodur inviting MP's MLA's and Political Leaders and re released the Book of Shri Karunakaran once again by receiving a copy from me and announced that Leader is leader for Andhra Pradesh too as his Biography has been written by my father.
After coming to Kerala I could see Leaderji ample of times and yesterday I could seek the blessings of India's Greatest Leader Shri. Karunakaran and I am happy that Leader has consented to release my book on the reminiscences on my father.
